it was a dark and stormy night, just kidding. annie and i were driving home from celebrating a birthday on the beach of one of her friends. it was dark, dry, and chilly. as i auto-piloted the car home annie noticed something small, moving, and pink on the road. we continued to drive past this creature, but annie demanded we turn around and investigate this mystery, which she had already exclaimed was a baby pig. i was skeptical that it was, in fact, a pig. we turned around and found the fella and to my surprise and annies excitement, it was a newborn piglet! we knew this because of the long umbilical cord still attached to the bottom of his belly, and the fact that he had birthing film across his body. annie looked at me and i could read her mind very quickly, so i went to the trunk and got a blanket for this newborn. and on we went thinking, ” we need to find this guy some food. luckily the general store in town was still open. we found raw whole cows milk which we bought, but later determined raw goat milk is best. we got him home and immediately got online and research hand rearing piglets. we got him his milk and made him a bed and accomplished surviving the first night. thanx interwebs
